LeTourneau University Men's Basketball Camps

James Wallace was introduced as LeTourneau University's head men's basketball coach on April 27, 2021. The 2023-24 season is his third at the helm of the program, and his 10th overall at LeTourneau.

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS (HEAD COACH)

In 2022-23, Wallace led his team to the ASC Tournament for an eighth straight year. Warren Richardson was named the ASC Defensive Player of the Year while he and Deonte Jackson garnered All-ASC accolades.

In his first season, Wallace was named the ASC Coach of the Year after guiding the YellowJackets to a 22-5 overall record and a 15-4 mark in the ASC. LeTourneau advanced to the ASC Tournament championship game. Andrew Eberhardt and Deonte Jackson were both named to the All-ASC first team as seven YellowJackets tallied conference honors. Eberhardt was an NABC All-District selection and also earned D3hoops.com All-Region.

Joel Wallace joined LeTourneau as an assistant coach for the men's basketball program in July 2021. He begins his third year with the program in 2023-24.

He spent two seasons as a graduate assistant with the Minot State men's basketball program as the Beavers made history in 2021. After finishing third during the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference regular season, Minot State made its first-ever semifinals appearance in the tournament.

Under his leadership, point guard Max Cody averaged 15.8 points, 6.5 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game en route to garnering All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference first team honors. Forward Kody Dwyer converted 71.3 percent of his field-goal attempts, finishing third among all NCAA players across all three divisions.
